Ani Mouradian Early Life
In Toms River, New Jersey, Ani began studying the piano at the age of five. Her Mother was her first teacher.
Coming from a classical music loving family, Ani was introduced to the world of classical music when attending Concerts at the Metroplitan Opera House, David Geffen Hall, and everywhere within the New York City area.
She participated in professional classes at 9 years old by Mrs. Barbara DeAngelis, a Julliard graduate.
Ani was performing frequently at local and Armenian events, and grew as a pianist.
At the age of 12, Ani was introduced to Mrs. Violeta Kundrotiene, who just immigrated to the United States from Vilnius, Lithuania. With the Eastern European schooling system, Violeta strengthened and rebuilt Ani’s skills as a pianist, musically, technically, theoretically, and allround. Over the years, she prepared Ani for all her upcoming musical endeavors.
